I only do mobile detailing. Is Concorso still for me?
Yes. Mobile is one of the three operation types, with time-blocked scheduling, client addresses and multi-vehicle visits built for it rather than adapted to it. The Solo plan is free for one person.
Does it work on my phone?
It is built for the phone first. Open it in your browser, add it to your home screen, and it runs full screen like any other app. There is nothing to download from an app store and nothing to update.
What is the difference between Concorso and Jobber?
Jobber is a general field-service app built for lawn care, plumbing and cleaning. Concorso is built for automotive reconditioning: in-shop, mobile and dealership work as first-class job types, with vehicle history, service packages and contractor payouts in from day one.
I work exclusively with dealerships. Does Concorso support that?
Yes. Every unit carries its VIN and stock number, the job carries the PO, and each dealer gets a private price book. Send the dealer a link and they submit cars themselves, with the services they want and the time the car has to be back, without needing an account.
How does contractor payment tracking work?
Every service on a job has a payout separate from what the client is charged. Concorso keeps a running record of what each technician or contractor has earned, so payroll is a lookup rather than a spreadsheet. T4 employees and T4A contractors can sit on different pay cadences.
Can I send a quote before the work is booked?
Yes. Build an estimate from your service packages and send the customer a link. No account, no app. Approving it creates the job with the lines already on it. Nothing is scheduled and nobody is assigned until they say yes.
Which Canadian tax formats does Concorso support?
You set up the rates your province charges, a single line for HST or two lines for GST and QST, and Concorso applies them to every invoice. Rates take three decimal places, so QST at 9.975% is exact.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your workspace pauses until you pick a plan, and Solo is free, so one person can carry on at no cost. Nothing is deleted and nothing is charged: there was never a card on file, so there is nothing to bill.
